Wow, the month has sure slipped away.
:rainbow: And it is mighty grey out there.
:coffee: I'm feeling a bit hupped up on coffee.
:totem1: Which is maybe good as I have a lot to do today.
:drawing: Got some good solid pencilling done last night, which makes me feel a bit less despondent about my projects.

:book: Started reading that Dragon Tattoo Girl last week. It zips along well enough, but something I found funny is that there will be half a page of description about what the punky hacker girl looks like, and not a single whit of description of what the main male character looks like.

:qotd: Reading anything interesting?

The handle saga has concluded. Only cost me $30 too.

The mortgage broker meeting went well. Kind of frightening to hear that the banks would give us half a million dollars if we wanted it. Not like we'd want to spend that much, there's things like vacations, nights, food and :unders: that are important parts of our lives. But it looks like we might be able to fit into a townhouse or spacious condo.

:rainbow: Sure is.

:skull: I relaxed last night, and so did my immune system, which may have let a cold take root. It's there. I can feel it, it's trying to drop an octave of my voice and clog a nostril. Garlic and ginger shock and awe treatment will commence tonight, but I'll try and drown it with copious amounts of water first.

:totem1: Lot's of finicky stuff on my plate today. Small files and delicate cut paths need finessing into being.

:qotd: I haven't read anything much at all these past few weeks, but my place is staged and ready to go so I might take a break and read some more Steve Jobs.

And maybe some :vidja: too. I'm having trouble remembering where I left off in Zelda.

I forgot to mention that the mortgage broker we are using looks like Jason Segel with four hours of sleep. It was a little unsettling. I kept expecting Kermit the Frog or Neil Patrick Harris to suddenly walk in.

Man, why does NPH get cooler every time I see something new about him?

I would like the person that has misplaced February to return it, please. Thank you very much.

:qotd: I just finished a fantasy saga first part called "Name of the Wind", which I had acquired mainly because it was pimped by Penny Arcade some time ago and it was 70% off at Borders' closing out sale. ok I guess.
I have just started "The Jewish-Japanese Sex & Cook Book and How to Raise Wolves" mainly because of the title. Chapter one does not live up to it. We'll see how that goes.

:qotd: I started reading "The Travels of Jaimie McPheeters." Just because it was sitting on the Librarian's recommended shelf and looked to be about the thickness of book I wanted to read.

So far -- pretty damn good!

Our library has various Recommended displays, and stickers on books, and I don't think they have ever steered me wrong! Also, it is funny choosing a book by thickness. "Just what am ready to get into here?" It becomes especially important when travelling.
