A question:

In case anyone's still reading around here. Brad Guigar made this announcement last week - http://www.evil-comic.com/forums/stains/9135/ - about how he would send the entire next month of his "Evil, Inc." strip to anyone who paid him for it.

Would this be allowed under the "advance posting" rule: "If an artist cannot post strips for a period of time (ie vacation, etc...), they must post strips for days to be missed in advance or find someone to update their sites for them"? Or would it run him afoul of the "New work only. No posting of old strips" rule since the strips in question would already have been available for weeks before appearing on his site?

I wrote to Ed directly, and he reminded me that the Ancillary Rules Page says, "There is nothing against building a buffer for this contest." This case, he says, falls under that heading more than anything else.

So all is well, and we carry on!
