:scott_r: Wow that is some boat!

:qotd: My niece and nephew really like getting mail, and have sort of gotten hip to the idea that you need to send mail to get mail. So Manien and I get these letters from them that have a drawing with no context whatsoever. Cross referencing the 8yr old's with the 4yr olds we can sort of speculate as to the content. "Well this one appears to be some water, the sun... the beach maybe? So then this is also likely representing water and?"

How are you liking that? I haven't quite managed to fully engage it yet.

:qotd: I go through periods of intensive letter writing, but they always kind of wain off because the people I write to mostly don't write back at all, or just send a small note, so it's hard to feel appreciation for the effort.

I find this with emails too. At my :totem1: I keep myself from despair by writing emails long rambling emails to people. And as the responses get less and less, I feel less like sending them to some people. Which is sad when that is the only contact I have with them.

I really like the first part? Especially "How come we never go there".The thing is I completely do not listen to the lyrics other than as another musical instrument if that makes sense? So I kind of do not accept that a song depressing, even though it may be. I think I will listen to it again.
