:rainbow: Another bright and sunny day. Summer at last!

:unders: Of course that means I am almost to the point where I can't go home for lunch because I overheat in the long pants, long shirt and tie Monkey Suit.
8-) And Manien can't go outside because her post lazer-surgery eyes are too sensitive to all that sunlight.

:pirate: Since Manien has been visually incapacitated, I haven't watched any tv shows all week!
:ipod: And my mp3 player is on the fritz, so I haven't been listening to music when I'm walking around.
:phone: I'm almost to the point where I'm considering some sort of iphone-like device.

:qotd: Do you have a mobile phone? What do you have? How do you like it?
:qotd: :qotd: Plans for the weeekend?

:rainbow: Yay! It's the hallowed days where I have to use SPF 30 as a daily moisturizer so my bald head doesn't burn!

:pirate: I found out our TV is all fancy and adjusts it's brightness to compensate for the ambient light. It's kind of weird. Not sure if something like that would help Manien though.

:qotd: I have the iPhone 3GS. I'm a bit of an Apple guy, but not so much that I've bothered upgrading to the 4 or 4S. Besides a much nicer camera with a flash, there wasn't much to prompt an upgrade. Might get the iPhone 5 when it comes out if it's got some fancy new features, plus newer apps on the iphone are really taxing the 3GS's processor. I use my phone mainly as a social media (ugh, that term sounds pretentious) device and as a camera. I don't play many games on it, but do use the twitter and instagram apps a lot. Plus the wikipedia app comes in handy surprisingly often. And there's this app called Shazam that listens to music and tells you what the song and artist are. It's pretty faboo.

If I was making comics and selling them at regular cons, I'd probably try and get the Paypal Here thing for iPhone.

:qotd: :qotd: A new mattress might be getting delivered tomorrow, so there might be a lot of sitting around waiting for that. There's a show and shine car show in down town New West on Sunday, might be cool to see a bunch of old cars in pristine shape. Other than that, it's a wide open weekend!

:pirate: I think I'll watch the Goonies tonight. They're good enough. Maybe do a truffle shuffle to commemorate it.

Manien's eyes are more on the mend now. I suspect our tv doesn't have an ambient light corrector - it is much less modern than yours (from what I recall you mentioning).

It was really weird going from my decade old CRT TV with no cable to a fancy flatscreen with cable and a PVR. All these features and options I'd never heard of before! Still fighting the old habit of just sitting there watching whatever's on. Gotta stay productive!
