Wow after a non-stop sunny weekend, it is back to dark grey drizzlesville out there. Oh well, I'm at anyways, so who cares, right?

Had a good weekend, though I saw almost nothing of Manien, which was weird.
Went to the book launch for 's latest Murder Book. Big things are happening at Studio Brisson this year! It was a good time, saw some different people from the jam.
And Saturday was the jam. Hung out with a friend for a bit before the jam. Hit the jam and got people to help me out with my jam-themed Broken Pencil column. Left in time to catch a seabus home.
Discovered a fellow Ween enthusiast next to me at the jam and sang "The Mollusk" together.

Real estate deals are done! My place is officially sold and Nina and I have officially bought a place. Now it's just the notaries, changes of addresses and packing. I can handle that.

I'm babysitting the niece and nephew tonight will sis and bro-in-law go to the Canucks game tonight. Will there be poopy diapers? Bed time stories? Dance parties? Only one way to find out!

Going to start getting all the little things together for the impending move. To do lists will be featured heavily.

Manien is working the next two nights, and then Wednesday she's heading to visit her sister on the Island, so I am going to be having a fairly bacheloric week. Hopefully I can use my time for and not just Though I do already have plans for Thursday and Friday nights. There seems to be about five different things I could go to Friday!

Thanks! We bought a two bedroom condo in New West near the Patullo Bridge. It's a brand new build on the old Woodlands School grounds. Close to transit, lots of greenspace and a pretty cool amenity centre. We're pretty happy!

Then I got laid off today.

It's not horrible though(I think), they're shutting our whole plant down at the end of the summer (they say), so I've got a good couple of months to find new work (hopefully). Time to dust off the portfolio and resume, new adventures in employment await!
