It's Leap Day Eve!

There should be a super awesome holiday stat that occurs on the leap day. A super party that happens once every four years

:qotd: Awesome idea?

:rainbow: Google is not helping me figure out what 'higher elevations' means when there's supposed to be snow at higher elevations today.

:totem1: Lot's of misbehaving files today.

Babysat the niece and nephew last night which was a fun change of pace. Those kids be crazy! We wore pretend flippers, traded shoes, made some dinosaurs swim and ate granola bars and drank smoothies.

I straightened out decorations in my building's foyer today. I think this staging thing is starting to become unhealthy.

:qotd: Great idea! Manien and I were ready to bust out a celebration, but then she ended up working tonight, so celebrations were called off.

:rainbow: There is no snow yet at my elevation.

:totem1: Not really in the mood today. Yesterday I was in a great mood!

When I used to work in the grocery store, I would find myself straightening out product in other stores if I stood in one place too long. Messy shelves hsss hsss!

That IS a great idea. I've got four years to pull one together.

A group of art-types I hang out with is talking about having a big public drawing thing in the spring, with models, and music, and various types of artists in public space (Boston Common, maybe?). I dig the idea, but the proposed name for it is "Draw-in," which I quickly went on the record as hating. If I saw a blurb in the paper saying there was a "draw-in" I'd avoid it. It sounds so low-energy.

But I don't know what a cool name is. Something that says there will be wild people, and wild costumes, and people creating, and interacting, and awesome music. It's too bad "Artrage" is computer program -- if the name were up for grabs, I'd totally use it.

Croquis on the Common? (If you get a space there, I mean.)
