I have a feeling I have likely used that title before. A variation on the Shadowy Men from a Shadowy Planet song "Having an Average Weekend" which is used as the theme for Kids in the Hall.

Yeah, so I had an okay weekend.

:moonshine: Started out strong with a party. Good times, hung out and chatted with different people. It was 80s themed so inevitably at some point I was dancing.

:skull: But then Saturday morning, Manien was not feeling well, so she called in sick to work (which was unfortunate, it being her first week of real working!). And so the rest of the weekend was pretty low key.
:pirate: We watched 50/50 and Restless. Both were enjoyable enough, but it was maybe a bit too much cancer for one weekend.
:rainbow: Also the greyness and rain did not inspire me to do much of anything.

:pirate: Nina worked for a couple of days on 50/50. She got a gig as the location liaison for Richmond. They turned Richmond City Hall into a hospital. She got to do everything from making sure lights were on to shooing away paparazzi.

:rainbow: Yeah, it was pretty grey. I did lots of indoor chores. And some outdoors ones, which left me soggy.

My place is almost staged. All I need to do is take care of my art desk, do some spot painting and give the thing a thorough cleaning! Woot to the woot. This project was way bigger than I expected. You forget how much you actually own until you start digging into closets and cupboards and such.

Went to a pair of family functions over the weekend, my family seems to be getting louder and louder all the time.

:totem1: Not in the mood.

Neat. Manien was trying to figure out what hospital they were at. It was funny that they set it in Seattle, but opened it with a gigantic Stanley Park and Lions Gate Bridge sequence. I quite enjoyed the movie though. It was funny and sad.

:totem1: At this time of year if there is sunshine in the afternoon, it will sometimes reflect off the condos across the road and so it is like someone is shining a spotlight right at me. Like right now.
