Buonjourno! Found some wifi, and Nina's in the shower so I thought I'd pop by! Italy's a cool place! Love the food and the architecture! Glad I didn't rent a car, the driver's here are nuts! But I'm glad it's been two weeks since I've seen a raised pick up truck or a lowered anything!

Going to Vatican City today, see me a chapel that's all sistiney. Perhaps the Pantheon later.

:totem1: None!
:rainbow: It was raining and a thunderin' and a lightnin' last night. Zeus must have been angry.
:qotd: Any cool cars not available where you live? I've been seeing brands that aren't available in North America. Fiats, Renaults, these little three wheeled trucks called APE. Such awesome designs! And the variety of scooters!

Time for a free continental breakfast!

:tylerH: The board is telling me it is this lil' guy's birthday. I hope he is having many adventures.

:scott_r: Sounds great! Glad you're having a good time.

:totem1: Yes.
:skull: Woke up at about 4:30am and didn't really go back to sleep. So I feel pretty gross.

My Mom is visiting this week and next week, so I spent the weekend hanging out with her. It is not too stressful or anything, but I didn't really have any downtime on the weekend. And Manien and I are sleeping in the studio.

:qotd: I don't know about cars that aren't available here, but there is a new car that I have seen around that is sort of like a cuter Mini. I think it is a Fiat 500.

Delphine's sister is driving a fiat 500… It's the latest of those popular cheap cars they've redesigned into a trendy hipster too-expensive ride. 1st the beetle, then the mini, and now the 500…
It's not that i don't like them but they were tipically "poor people" cars and now they cost an arm, seems wrong to me.

My brother has a mini. 1967, I think? Anyway, it's TINY compared to the new minis. I mean, it's comfortable inside (and I'm a reasonably big guy), but the exterior dimensions are really small. When you park it next to one of the new minis, the new mini looks bulbous and hulking. A lot of the extra size comes from safety features (if I had to get t-boned in either car, I'd certainly want it to be the new mini) so I guess I shouldn't be too critical.

I hear what you're saying, though, Alex. The new 500 does look pretty darn cool, though (I've only seen photos).

I know what you mean about the old vs new mini. I was disappointed when the new ones turned out to be so huge. Same with the new bugs. It is too bad they make these things so expensive.

I just saw one of those Fiats yesterday! Still cute.
