I don't think I ever really listened to the lyrics for Monday Monday. It is actually kind of sad, and repeats itself three times (if lyricsfreak is to be believed).

:qotd: How's everyone doing? How was the weekend?

Manien and I flew to Nanaimo, and hung out with the Island people. The flights both ways were pleasant and smooth. I spent Saturday playing hard. The niece and I were playing so energetically that our faces got all red and Manien advised us to take it easy for a while! Good times. And last night my cousin didn't end up staying over, so we were able to just flake out, eat Thai food, drink :wine: and watch some 30 Rock.

:ipod: I was singing as much as I could recall from Big Audio Dynamite's first album in my head as I walked down the hill.
:rainbow: Grey and rainy
:unders: Today's Outfit: The Stripes of Darkness
:coffee: Yeah the brain is going I guess
:drawing: Gotta finish off my Broken Pencil column tonight.

:qotd: I am doing ok today! I had been feeling pretty crappy the past few days. But, this morning? I feel ok. I think it's cause the weather is in the 70's today rather than the 90s.

Went to a barbecue at Sarah's moms this weekend. It was one of those times where I was sitting back looking around and realizing how much I love Sarah's family and how I'm happy that they're gonna be my family.

:food: I've had Chinese food for 3 out of the last 4 meals. It's time for change.

:qotd: It was pretty uneventful. Played Just Cause 2 too much & didn't clean the house.

Gotta get my crap together for my trip to Maine tomorrow. I wonder if I still have the big-ass suitcase in the attic...

:vidja: Guess what I'm playing...
:food: Salmon cream cheese in my scrambled eggs = AWESOME.
:coffee: Tasty.
:rainbow: Hey there sunshine.

Had a nice weekend. I'm scrambling to get things done before I leave for my trip on Wednesday.

There was a pretty good comedy of errors that I could have sidestepped by trying not to be so cheap. In the end I wound up spending the same amount of money anyway. But now instead of sleeping in Greenfield for free, I'm sleeping in New Haven for free. My own stupid fault (helped along by finding someone didn't actually live in the town I'd been told they did.

I'm listening to a song about The Phantom -- I have no idea who wrote it, played it, or even how it got on my hard drive. Pretty fun, though. The lyrics are a really straightforward explanation of the character.

Phantom! Alias Mr. Walker
Married to Diana Palmer!

:qotd: Spent my weekend with kleenex crammed up my nose. Nose was super runny, voice is shot and I have a headache. Fortunately this head cold seems to have broken and I'm on my way to healthy town again.

Ran into work and did some stuff and now I have the rest of the day off. Lists are being made and scripts will be fine tuned I plan on posting both arts and comics somewhere at some time today so keep a heads up.

:drawing: Instead of starting yet another project I am going to revamp and restart an older one which I really liked.
:pirate: The kids watched a Battlestar without me last night and were actually sad about it. Doc Who tonight.
:food: Some ham'n'eggs.
:unders: Laundry day.
:qotd: It's my weekend RIGHT NOW!!!!

Spending the day cleaning house for a friend who is going to to be spending the week with us. I'm glad he's coming and I hope we can have lots of fun this week on a limited budget, but I'll be looking forward to after he is gone and I finally get to be back on a normal schedule after almost a month of visiting.

:rainbow: Actually it has gotten sunny here which is nice.

:totem1: I have been kind of low level irritated all day.
